Founded in 2002, the Philadelphia Gay Tourism Caucus is an inclusive, regional organization that collaborates with all communities to promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) tourism to the Greater Philadelphia Region. We are motivated by a desire to promote Philadelphia and The Countryside as a top destination for LGBT travelers. Open to anyone, gay or straight, we bring together a group of people dedicated to encouraging, developing, and promoting Philadelphia as a gay-friendly destination. Our primary goal is to ensure that LGBT visitors to Philadelphia have a wonderful stay and if possible, visit us again!

Created, with the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, the Get Your History Straight and Your Nightlife Gay advertising campaigns, first in 2003 and the We Your People campaign in 2008.
In 2007 we unveiled, with the City of Philadelphia, rainbow street signs marking the Gayborhood.
In 2010, we celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Philadelphia’s Gayborhood!
